The fundamental decision on the case of Legal Group «Intellectual Property» on infringement of copyright of studio «Melnitsa»
The Constitutional Court considered the appeal of the studio of the animation film «Melnitsa» and concluded that the award of compensation below the lower statutory limit could not amount to partial satisfaction of the claim. In such a case, any procedural expenses of the parties should not be apportioned between the plaintiff and the defendant.
